Verschlüsselung von Dateien, Texten und E-Mails nach dem hochsicheren Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-Verfahren). AES basiert auf dem Rijndael Algorithmus, welcher in den USA für staatliche Dokumente mit höchster Geheimhaltungsstufe zugelassen ist.
Obwohl AES bei Experten bereits mit einer Schlüssellänge von 128 Bit als absolut sicher gilt, verwendet der aborange Crypter die maximale Schlüssellänge von 256 Bit.
Da auch das vom Anwender gewählte Verschlüsselungspasswort einen Einfluss auf die Sicherheit hat, ist in die Software ein Passwortgenerator und eine Bewertungsfunktion integriert, die bei Wahl eines Passworts Auskunft über dessen Qualität gibt.
